Short Film Treatment

This term we will be working on one project; a 5-Minute Short Film. You will write, direct, and edit your own film, but first, you need an idea. This week, your assignment is to write a "Treatment". Treatments are usually short explanations of the story. This is not a script. Here are the steps you need to follow to complete this assignment

1. Come up with an idea for your film. Make sure your film isn't too complicated or expensive (we're not making The Avengers here). I do, however want your film to have interesting characters and a story with a beginning, middle, and end. (More on that next week)

3. Write your treatment, including a logline, character bios, and synopsis. This shouldn't be more than 2-3 pages. Turn in your treatment here for credit.
