Course Syllabus

Course Description

This class is designed to introduce students to the diverse methods of drawing.  Students will be focusing on two artistic views: production and criticism. The classroom will be based on respect. This means respect for yourself, respect for rights of others to learn, and respect of materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

Your success in this class is your responsibility.  This means that you will be expected to:

*Take care of materials provided

*Complete each assignment on time

*Turn in each assignment on time with your full name and class period

*Cleanup after yourself each day

 

Cadet Materials

School will provide some materials, but with that being said, any stealing, destroying or misuse of materials will be a Class I infraction.

You will need:

  • Sketchbook (size is up to the cadet)
  • A set of drawing pencils (4H, 4B, 6B, 8b)
  • A Kneaded eraser
  • (all supplies can be found at any arts and crafts store, as well as Walmart)
